  Nice location, busy but relaxed. Staff friendly. Food was cooked well. Enjoyed a family meal here. They have maintained the look and feel well since Mitchell and Butlers took the site over and made it part of their 'Premium Country Pubs' portfolio. Not the cheapest place for a Sunday lunch but would certainly go there again.

  Nice enough pub with the current owners, much improved in recent years since it was a beefeater. A little in the expensive side for what they serve but they have a god variety and the staff are polite.
